Topic Proposal

The topic that I wish to pursue is Ethics in Law Enforcement. I believe that because the police are granted powers over citizens in the community that they should be held to higher standards of ethics and morality. Too often do I hear about police corruption or secrecy behind "the blue wall." A sub topic within this is Noble-cuase corruption, which is bending/breaking the law for the better good. This topic to me is very interesting because you get a view at the rationalization for police to break the laws that they are sworn to enforce.
